This album has a lot of very ambiguous songs on it. I came up with the phrase "indie-rock-pop-glam-jazz" for it but it hasn't taken off. My own feeling is that the order in which the songs appear follows a trajectory from a sort of benign vanity to a more sinister narcissism. They're all about me in some way ... for good and bad (but not ugly).
