This is much more "chemical" than it is "jazz", although there are songs on here using maj7, aug and dim chords (that's for any musos reading this).
Some songs have very simple arrangements, some are quite complex. Some songs are quite sweet, others are quite dirty. But they're all quite psychological.
Reviews have cited Bowie and Morrissey as influences (although reviewers have also claimed definite influences from a bunch of people I hadn't even heard of at the time).
I released this under the name "CatDesigners" even though it's an entirely solo album. I was just a bit shy at the time so I put a band together later (and called it CatDesigners) to play this album live ... that didn't work out so I play solo now anyway (I'm not as shy as I was).
